Serve Becomes Official Sponsor at Global RallyCross

Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines! Best Buy just announced Serve as an official sponsor for its Global RallyCross racing team. Soon you’ll see Serve putting the pedal to the medal on the #17 Ford Fiesta Mk7. Okay, well, all that speed will actually be coming from Englishman David Binks who will be behind the wheel – but we’ll be living vicariously through him!

If you’re not familiar with the Global RallyCross, it’s definitely worth checking out. Introduced in 2011, Rallycross is a combination of circuit racing, off-road racing and rally competition based on the popular European sport. The courses and races are short, and are also the only races globally that feature a 70 foot (!) gap jump.

Production-based vehicles—yes, the same ones that you use to drive to work each day – are customized to include four-wheel drive capabilities and power output exceeding 550hp.

And if all that doesn’t curb your need for speed, you can always rely on the Serve platform to provide a secure and super fast way to send and receive funds. It’s also a great way to give that slowpoke friend or family member the extra fuel they need to pay you in a timely manner (we know, there’s one in every crowd).

Hope to see you at the starting line! Here are the dates of upcoming Global RallyCross events:

  • May 26: at the Charlotte Motor Speedway
  • June 9: at the Texas Motor Speedway
  • June 30-July 1: X Games Los Angeles
  • July 14: New Hampshire Motor Speedway
  • Sept 29: Las Vegas Motor Speedway
